Maria de Lourdes Jesus was born in Vila da Ribeire Brava, in the island of S. Nicolau in Cape Verde.
Soon fatherless, she helps her mother Camilla running with the family. When 15year old, she reaches Italy seeking a job, it's 1971. In Rome she manages with studiyng from junior high to degree in Pedagogy and starts being in RAI broadcasting - Nonsolonero program.
